Class Description
Level 1 – Beginner 1
This course is an introduction to Salsa On2; it’s designed for those students that never danced On2 before. No experience is necessary. No partner is needed. You will learn the basic steps, turning technique, musicality, and beginner shines (solo footwork). In addition, this class serves as an effective lesson for those students that want to transition from “On1” to “On2” Salsa for the first time and interested in mastering the foundations. This course will focus on strong fundamental solo steps and turns. Partner work will be limited to the cross-body lead and the open break. More advanced turn patterns will be covered in Level 1.5.
Level 1.5 – Beginner 2
This course will cover the fundamentals of dancing with a partner. We will focus on teaching basic turn patterns in order to construct more intricate variations. By the end of this course, participants will know a variety of fun, easy, and elegant turn pattern and shines which add flare and sass to your dance. No partner is needed and participants will rotate partners often. The requirement for this course is completing and mastering Level 1. Instructors approval is required for students to join this level.
Level 2 – Advanced Beginner
This course is specifically designed for students who have Mastered Level 1 and Level 1.5. To join this level, mastery of timing On2, musicality, and basic turn patterns is required. Participants will expand the repertoire of steps, shines and turn patterns while learning about social dancing and salsa etiquette.
Level 3 – Pre-Intermediate
Ready for a challenge? Must have completed Level 2 or have firm understanding of On2/Mambo fundamentals and musicality. Students will learn advanced and complex technique, shines and turn patterns.
Open Level
All levels are welcome. Learn and drill new movements that add lots of style and flash to your dancing. These classes have a strong focus on technique and musicality.

Private Classes
Private instruction is the fastest and most efficient way of improving your dance skills. These classes will be specifically tailored to you. One-on-one classes gives you the opportunity to receive full attention and immediate feedback in order to correct your mistakes as they happen. Customized private dance instruction allows you to quickly master critical skills needed to make dance moves work. Learn steps quickly, easily, and immediately to move on to the next combination with no distractions. If you are interested in learning quickly, mastering Turn Patterns, Shines, or add Styling to your dancing, private lessons is the best way to go. Dany is available to teach private lessons On1 and On2.
