Dany instructs Salsa dance courses for Rutgers University. The schedule of classes for the Fall 2008 is available on the Rutgers website. Please download the Fall 2008 PDF Catalog of classes. Classes begin on September 19th, 2008.

Salsa On2 Intermediate 5-Week Course - Walk-in or Register Online

Meets on: Aug 27th, Sep 3rd, Sep 10th, Sep 17th. Sep 24th
Participants will improve social dancing and improvisational skills. Each class, learn up to 3 different exit variations from common dance positions. Men. do not get stuck doing the same steps over and over. Ladies will learn to recognize, follow and style intricate turn patterns. Focus will be placed on ladies’s styling and men’s lead techniques . Learn flashy shines to spice-up your footwork. REQUIREMENTS: Mastery of timing and crossbody lead.
$65 for 5-week course.

Salsa On2 Beginner 5-Week Course Register Online

Couse length: 5 weeks.

De-mystify and learn the Salsa On2 Style. With this course, participants will gain a solid understanding of the fundamental steps of Salsa On2. Special focus will be placed on mastering the rhythm and dancing perfectly on-beat. Material covered: Intro to Shines (open footwork), all basic turns and variations. Crossbody lead and variations. Intro to double turns.
$65 for 5-week course.

Private instruction is the fastest and most efficient way of improving your dance skills. One-on-one attention gives you the opportunity to receive immediate feedback in order to correct mistakes as they happen. Don’t make the same mistake twice. Worse, don’t let it become a habit. Personalized and customized dance instruction allows you to quickly master critical skills needed to make dance moves work. The learning curve with private lessons is incredibly easy! Learn a move quickly and easily, and immediately move on to the next combination. If you want to quickly learn Turn Patterns, Shines, or add Styling to your dancing, private lessons is the best way to go. Dany and Camila are available to teach private lessons On1 AND On2.
